Clean Eating Pancakes
It's time to switch up the basic ingredients and enjoy your favorite pancakes - guilt free!
This clean eating recipe is something you can totally enjoy and indulge early mornings (or as afternoon snacks!) This tastes like banana bread and so easy to to put together. Please make sure to keep the heat at minimum when cooking so they won't get burn.
Ingredients:
1 Ripe mashed banana
1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg whisked
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
1. Mash the banana - you can enlist your kids in doing this, it'll surely be fun!
2. Add the almond butter and cinnamon.
3. Heat a non stick frying over a low heat and ad or spray the coconut oil.
4. One the pan is warm enough, pour in the pancake mixture, the size depends on how you like it!
5. Make sure it is at low heat please, let's avoid getting it burned! ;) When the top gets a bit bubbly or have air holes on top, gently flip the pancakes over to cook on the other side!
6. Once cooked, serve the pancakes with fresh berries on top or with maple syrup or agave nectar! Yum!
