Clean Eating Banana Pops
Are you craving for something sweet? This recipe I am going to share with you surely is top notch on my list of recommendations! You don't even need a recipe for this, the measurements below are just for people who wants some guidance ;) Have fun with this one!
What you need:
1. Yellow Bananas, make sure there are brown spots on the peel!
2. Almonds crushed (or any nuts you prefer, but almond it is for me!)
3. Coco nibs and dark chocolate chips
4. Popsicle sticks (available in craft stores)
What to do:
- Peel the banana and cut them in half.
- Push a Popsicle stick into the center.
- Using a microwave or on top of an oven stove, melt the dark chocolate. Let it cool for a bit and dip the bananas in it!
- Then roll them in the crushed almonds or coco nibs.
- You may enjoy it right then and there.. OR freeze it for a bit to let the chocolate settle.
This is definitely something low carb but simple and tasty dessert you and your kids will surely love!
