Banana Walnut Fudge
Banana. Walnuts. Fudge. This clean eating recipe is a delicious partnership of traditional ingredients and making the traditional much more decadent..and healthy too!
Plus with Valentine's Day a few days away, don't you think this fudge recipe fits perfectly? This makes a wonderful gift for your loved ones and friends!
What you need:
1/2 cup coconut oil
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 medium ripe banana
10 dates, blended
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Walnuts - this can be optional or use different nuts!
What you need to do:
In a small pot, melt coconut oil then whisk the cocoa powder while the oil is still warm.
In a food processor, blend the banana, dates and vanilla extract.
Add the chocolate-coconut oil mixture and blend till smooth and well combined.
Pour into a parchment lined baking dish and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours then cut into 24 pieces (depending on the size you want!)
It can be stored up to 4 weeks! Yum!
