Clean Eating Holiday Recipe- Peppermint Latte
During the frenzy of the holiday season it's quite important for us busy mommies and daddies to take a little time for ourselves! Sit in a corner, warm up, book in hand and sip a steaming cup for our favorite cup of Peppermint Latte!
Sharing with you a simple recipe a clean, healthy amazing drink you can sip with a peace of mind this holiday season!
What you need:
½ cup almond milk
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp. pure peppermint extract
1 cup brewed black coffee (or 1 shot espresso)
1 fresh mint leaf (for garnish; optional)
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Here's how to do it:
1. Bring milk, cocoa powder and peppermint extract to a boil in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove from heat; mix vigorously with a whisk until frothy.
3. Pour coffee into a large serving mug; top with milk mixture.
4. Garnish with mint leaf if desired.
