Zucchini Fries
Do you want a snack that has both flavor and crunch? You have got to try Zucchini Fries!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
- 2 tbsp cornmeal
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 medium zucchini, cut into sticks
- 2 large egg whites, lightly beaten
Method:
1. Prepare your oven to 475 F
2. Grease your baking sheet and line with parchment paper or foil
3. In a bowl combine flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Few at a time, dip zucchini in egg white, share excess then dip into the flour mixture making sure it is well coated. Repeat to all zucchini.
5. Line in baking sheet, bake for atleast 12 - 14 minutes (turn sides after 6 minutes) Once it is tender and crispy, it's ready to be enjoyed! Yum!
