Super Green Smoothie Bowl
Smoothie Ingredients:
1/4 ripe avocado
2 medium ripe bananas, frozen
1 cup fresh or frozen berries, for greener smoothie use strawberries/raspberries
2 large handfuls of spinach
1 small handful of kale
1 1/2 - 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp flaxseed meal
Toppings:
fruits of choice (mangoes, berries)
nuts (roasted or raw)
hemp seeds
Method:
1. Add all smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth and creamy. You may add in more almond milk to make the consistency either thick or thin, depending on your liking. It is better to add the almond milk slowly to see the consistency that you prefer.
2. Taste and adjust the flavors too as needed, if you want to sweeten it more add bananas and brighten it to green by addming more spinach.
3. Add in the berries and nuts on top and enjoy!
