Low Carb Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie


Ingredients:

1/2 cup almond butter (or any other spread you like)
1 large egg (free range)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1/4 of natural sweetener
2 cups almond flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips

Method:

1. Preheat over to 176 C or 350 F. 
2. In an iron skillet, heat the butter until it is bubbling. Lower the heat down to low and continue to cook, stir occasionally until the butter is brown. Then remove from heat. Let it cool for a few minutes
3. In a bowl, whisk the egg and vanilla. Add in the sugar and sweeter, stir again until it is well combined. Add the melted and cooled butter. Stir again.
4. Add in the almond flour, salt and half of the chocolate chips. Mix it well until creamy. It is thicker than a dough. Spoon it into the skillet, top with the remaining choco chips.
5. Bake it for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick comes clean when inserted at the center of the dough. Serve and enjoy!!!
