Fried Pumpkin Blossoms
Don't neglect those beautiful pumpkin blossoms! They can be eaten too ;)
Ingredients
2 to 3 cups gluten free cracker crumbs
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
fresh pumpkin blossoms
olive oil
Instructions
1. In a bowl, add the gluten free cracker crumbs.
2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
3. Get your pumpkin blossoms and dip it in the eggs, making sure it is coated well. Then dip it on the cracker crumbs. (Enlist the kids!! Fun thing to do)
4. In a pan, make sure it is heated at medium. Add in olive oil.
5. Fry the blossoms for a few minutes till it is golden brown.
Serve immediately. Yum!
