Avocado Lime Frozen Yogurt
Ingredients:
4 ripe avocados, medium in size
1 cup plain almond yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup honey or agave nectar
1/2 cup lime juice
Pinch sea salt
Procedure:
1. Clean, cut, pit remove the avocados. Get the flesh out of the skins.
2. Cut the avocadoes in large chunks - try to make as much as 3 scoops.
3. Add all ingredients in a food processor and puree it still consistency is smooth.
4. Add the mixture in a container or if you have an ice cream machine, feel free to use it!
5. Freeze it for about 30 minutes to an hour.
6. Scrape the sizes using a spatula and by now you will see ice crystals forming at the sides, blend it with the mixture. Then put it back again for another 30 minutes in the freezer.
7. Repeat this process for 2 or 3 more times until the mixture gets thicker and harder to mix.
8. Then after the last mixing, put back on the freezer again and wait for 3 hours. (I know, the waiting is hard!!)
9. When serving time comes, scoop from freezer into your favorite container. Then enjoy! You may want to garnish something on top, like mint leaves or fruits that you prefer like berries!
