Chewy Raspberry Apple Granola Bars
How about something kid friendly for today? These wholesome clean eating snack can be made ahead of time and be enjoyed by your and your whole family! These are so easy to make and lovely to look at with its vibrant colors. And a very healthy snack, breakfast or even dessert alternative.
Ingredients:
1 tsp coconut oil, make sure it is melted
1/2 cup unsweeted applesauce at room temperature
1/3 c almond milk
1 tbsp honey or agave nectar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 1/2 cup steel-cut oats
1 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries, diced
Procedures:
1. Preheat over at 350 F and coat the baking pan with a nonstick cooking spray.
2. Stir together the oil, applesauce till smooth in consistency. Add in the milk, agave nectar and cinnamon and combine well.
3. Stir in the oats until the oats are coated well with the applesauce mixture and then add in the raspberries.
4. Place the mixture in the baking pan.
5. Bake for 350 F for 16-19 minutes.
6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it completely cool at room temperature and slice according to preferred sizes.
