Chocolate covered Raspberry Oatmeal

The hardest part of my comp journey has been giving up my beloved chocolate. I have a serious problem that was in need of an intervention. After being up all night with 2 sick kiddies I am running on zero sleep today and wanted a chocolate fix. So chocolate covered raspberry oats for breakfast it is!


Ingredients:
1/2 cup of old fashion  oatmeal
1/2 cup of almond milk
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder.
1/4 cup of raspberries

Directions:
Boil 1/2 cup of oatmeal in water til cooked. Remove from heat and rinse oatmeal in strainer. Return to pan and add almond milk and protein. Stir til well mixed. Pour into bowl and top with Raspberries.

Enjoy this delicious breakfast guilt free!

  1. Why do you rinse the oatmeal after cooking? Rid of excess starch?
